NEW DELHI: The all-metal newest OnePlus Two badass phone will be giving Samsung, LG and iPhone competition as it is releasing around the same time as their latest models.
It is expected that OnePlus will follow the same Invite-Only strategy for launching its second-gen flagship, which reduces the number of sets produced; this might benefit the company if in case the phone fails to impress the audience.
The Chinese company is ditching their previous Cyanogen operating system and will be going with their self-developed OxygenOS. OnePlus One was entirely made with the Cyanogen OS; however Two won’t be. Reportedly both companies had different approaches and plans for the OnePlus Two, therefore they parted ways.
Although some reports claim that the reason behind severing was to manage the troubleshoot problems directly.
Running OxygenOS which stands on the basis of the latest Android 5.0.1 Lollipop, OnePlus Two features a 5.5-inch HD screen with 2560×1440 resolution. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 810 (Soc) chipset processor and 3,300 mAh non-removable battery. It has a 4 GB RAM and might come in two different in-built memory sizes with the option of an external memory card.
The amount of the OnePlus Two has reportedly increased to $435, although OnePlus One was way cheaper (16 GB $299 and 64 GB $349). However, the company is keeping it below the average price of its competitors making it affordable for most of the people.
