ISLAMABAD: The Japanese government will give Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Rs430 million grant for acquiring machinery and equipment for technical education and well-drilling rigs made by Japanese small and medium enterprises.
Ambassador of Japan to Pakistan Hiroshi Inomata and Economic Affairs Division Secretary Muhammad Saleem Sethi have also signed an agreement in this regard.
Further details of procurement will be decided by the Japanese and Pakistani officials. The non-project grant aid is a type of grant which supports promotion of socio-economic development efforts of Pakistan.
