FAISALABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Regional Tax Office (RTO) Faisalabad has recovered Rs 460 million from tax defaulters in a recent drive against major tax defaulters, besides lodging eight cases against the renowned groups.
Moreover, Federal Board of Revenue Investigation and Prosecution Branch Assistant Commissioner Afzal Malik has also registered a case against the owner of Abdullah Fabric located in Chiniot on the charges of Rs 234 million tax fraud by submitting fabricated invoices to the department.
Meanwhile, the FBR has promoted Nasir Khan to BS-20, who was serving here at the Faisalabad RTO in Zone-I. Khan has also served at the Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation.
