SYDNEY: The Australian share market has opened lower, led by falls in banking stocks and the big miners.
At 1010 AEST on Monday, the benchmark SP/ASX200 index was down 8.6 points, or 0.15 per cent, at 5,726.9, while the broader All Ordinaries index was down six points, or 0.1 per cent, at 5,724.0.
On the ASX 24, the March share price index futures contract was down nine points at 5,738 with 5,841 contracts traded.
