RAWALPINDI: The Banking Court of Rawalpindi on Monday extended model Ayyan Ali’s judicial remand till May 25 in the US $500,000 smuggling case, lodged by customs authorities.
The court has also accepted the bail plea of Ayyan for hearing and it will be heard on May 25.
The supermodel was presented for the seventh time in the court since her arrest at the Islamabad airport.
However, the court expressed its anger at custom officials, as they could not present the complete charge sheet against Ayyan. Customs officials have assured the court that the challan in the said case would be finalised soon.
