The LG G4 was announced last month and if you were wondering when you might be able to get your hands on it, you will be semi-pleased to learn that according to LG, shipments of the LG G4 will begin rolling out this week. The bad news is that it seems that the initial roll out will not cover the US market.

According to LG, markets like Europe and North America will be followed shortly. Instead LG has chosen to launch in countries such as Singapore, Turkey, and Russia first. LG’s statement reads, “Starting in Hong Kong, the G4 will follow with rollouts in Turkey, Russia and Singapore, eventually including most of Europe, North America, CIS, Southeast Asia, Middle East/Africa and South/Central America.”

Official pricing and availability of the LG G4 for the US market still remains unknown. Last we heard, it was confirmed that the LG G4 would be arriving on all four major carriers in the US – Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint. T-Mobile is also allowing customers to preview the handset starting 25th of May where they can try it out for a brief period before committing to it.

However like we said, despite all carriers stating their intention to carry the device, none of them have given a solid release date yet. In any case hopefully with the handset starting to ship out now, we won’t have to wait too long to get a concrete release date from US carriers.
