FBR to achieve receivables target, claims Shazia

KARACHI: Assistant Commissioner IR, Regional Tax Office Shazia Abid has said that Federal Board of Revenue is trying hard to achieve its target of receivables during the end of current fiscal year. Talking to Customs Today, she said that the FBR has already issued necessary instructions in this regard and work is gaining full momentum.

She said that we received complaints against different companies in the past who shows their income in negative trend to avoid income tax but now due to effective policies of FBR rope is being tightening around their neck, and we already started to send notices to them.

She further clarified that department has already deputed Tax Officers in these respective factories to check their income and tax ratios. She says that now there is no doubt that tax receivables are touching new heights.
