WARSAW: Poland and the Czech Republic are shortlisted as the next location of the British Jaguar Land Rover production plant, according to Puls Biznesu daily.
The company has been looking for 300-500 ha land in this part of Europe to construct an automotive assembly plant and an automotive components factory as well as an educational center. As many as 6,000 jobs are to be created there.
Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency has offered the British investor a greenfield site in Legnica Special Economic Zone (Silesia), the daily reported.
