RIYADH: Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Transport and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.85%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were SABB Takaful (SE:8080), which rose 10.00% or 3.80 points to trade at 41.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (SE:8230) added 6.06% or 1.81 points to end at 31.70 and Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co (SE:8180) was up 5.61% or 1.70 points to 32.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Zamil Industrial Investment Co (SE:2240), which fell 2.30% or 1.53 points to trade at 65.00 at the close. Tourism Enterprise Co. (SE:4170) declined 0.89% or 0.45 points to end at 50.00 and Samba Financial Group (SE:1090) was down 0.60% or 0.18 points to 29.70.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 146 to 17.
Crude oil for June delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $60.54 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.40% or 0.27 to hit $66.97 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.13% or 1.60 to trade at $1223.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.34% to 4.2923, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7500.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.12% at 93.29.
