BEIJING: Airport Customs House intercepted a smuggling case in which some endangered animal products were illegally brought in by the smugglers, said Customs officers here the other day.
1 Panthera tigris corbetti skin, 7.7 kilograms of tiger bone, 9.7 kilograms of White Rhinoceros horn and 1.8 kilograms of ivory products were seized in the case. This is the biggest smuggling case of endangered species products that the Customs administration has intercepted in luggage control in these past several years.
The suspects were captured by the anti-smuggling Customs officers, according to the Customs administration.
