Usman Saifullah elected Chairman Senate body for Science & Tech

ISLAMABAD: Senator Usman Saifullah Khan of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) was elected the Chairman Senate Standing Committee for Science and Technology here on Friday.

Senator Lt. Gen (R) Abdul Qayum had proposed his name while Senator Saleem H Mandvi Wala endorsed him.

Expressing his views, Chairman Senate Standing Committee said that science and technology should be made part of the educational sector.

He said that developed countries had focused on science and technology, so now they more prosperous.

The Chairman Committee said that use of science and technology in agricultural would be helfull to increase foreign exchange for the country.

Parliamentary Leader of the PML-N in Senate Iqbal Zaffar Jhaggra and Parliamentary Leader of the PPP in Senate Saeed Ghani were also present on the occasion.
