DUBAI:  Dubai Customs dedicates itself to the launch of a diverse array of community-based events and initiatives.

The Department’s commitment to community uplift is a fundamental part of its overall strategic plan, which incorporates a unique social responsibility approach that relies on active participation in both formal and informal volunteer work.

Dubai Customs’ focus on social responsibility has had significant impact on the community throughout the course of many years. The Department is highly concerned with community development, which is one of its key strategic objectives, side-to-side with its economic and security responsibilities. Dubai Customs’ approach to community development targets the integration of community and environmental issues, with the strategic goal of sustainable development.

The Tabaq Al Kair event is one of Dubai Customs’ community initiatives. The event comes as part of a series of social campaigns of which the Dubai Customs is eager to organize and participate in. Within the context of Dubai Customs’ humanitarian approach and in appreciation of God’s infinite blessings; further reinforced by sincere, good intentions that are fully expressed in accordance with the law; Dubai Customs unequivocally commits itself to the aid of the needy and less fortunate both inside and outside of the UAE.
