Customs tribunal declares Faisalabad, Multan Customs’ decisions null and void

LAHORE: Customs Appellate Tribunal Lahore has decided two cases in favour of appellants those lodged appeals against the decisions of Faisalabad and Multan Customs.

As per details, an appellant, Sanaullah moved tribunal against the decision of Model Customs Collectorate Multan regarding the confiscation of his vehicle. However, the tribunal declared the decision of Collectorate null and void.

Similarly, another case pertaining to seizure of a truck loaded with tyres and tubes was lodged by Shakeel Ahmad against the Model Customs Collectorate Faisalabad which impounded the truck. The appellant filed appeal for release of his truck and the judge after hearing the arguments from both sides, announced the decision in favour of Shakeel.
