DUVALL: The emergency abort system test of the American aerospace company SpaceX turned out to be successful. A short video of the successful test was released by the company.
From the perspective of a crewmember that would be aboard the Crew Dragon capsule, the video displayed the tremendous blast off and successful separation of the crew capsule from the rocket.
The abort system was developed to be used in the case of emergency when astronauts feel the need to escape from a rocket that has malfunction while being launched.
The test known as Pad Abort Test was conducted two weeks ago as part of an important mission for the company to use its rockets to aid astronauts’ travel into space.
Till now, SpaceX has only completed unmanned missions, which include launching satellites into orbit around the Earth and taking and bringing back items from the International Space Station (ISS).
