MQM expresses concerns over huge loss to customs warehouse, offices

KARACHI: MQM’s Members of National Assembly have expressed deep sorrow over the damage caused by the terrorist attack to customs warehouse and offices of the private companies. Goods worth millions of rupees were in the customs warehouse for the clearance before being burnt to ashes.

MNAs of the said political party have demanded that Federal Government should pay compensation to the businessmen for the loss. They added that these businessmen had lost their hard earned savings because of fire.

They expressed sympathies with the businessmen and private companies affected by the fire and said that MQM would not desert them in the time of crisis and raise its voice for them.

Members of the National Assembly demanded Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif should take notice of the loss of businessmen and announce provision of compensation so that they could get out of mental anxiety.
