LAHORE: Township Industries Association Chairman Zaheer Ahmed Bhutta, has welcomed the government decision to exempt industrial sector from load-shedding.
Zaheer said that continues availability of electricity would help promote trade in country, besides increasing the employment opportunities for the youth.
He added that almost 110 megawatt electricity to be included in nation grid station from three hydel power stations.
The production price of per unit electricity is Rs 10.03, while the current government would give it to industries at subsidised rates that will strengthen the industries to produce items at low rates and to compete in international market, he said
