FIA discovers Axact’s fake degree printing press

KARACHI: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) discovered a printing press which was used to print fake degrees by Axact here, it is learnt.

Sources close to the FIA claimed that the dye-machine of Axact degrees, printing plates and stamp papers were found from a printing press located in Saddar area.

This press was being used from the last eight years to print fake degrees issued by Axact, they further claimed.

Sources added that the printing order was given on a letter head of Axact and the payment was made through a cheque of the company.

The FIA has also recorded the statement of building’s owner in which he stated that he was unaware that the fake degrees were being printed here.
