RTO Faisalabad to recover tax from defaulter factories

FAISALABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue has issued the directions to initiate investigation against numerous textile mills, processing, dying units and cotton factories in Faisalabad involved in manipulating the records to steal sales tax worth Rs 5.54 million.

According to sources, there are many factories in the city which are manipulating record of sales tax causing loss to national exchequer. Now the FBR authorities have directed to take the stern action against the culprits to recover evaded taxes.

The action has been initiated against the factories including Ahad Textile, Jillani Textile, Fine Processing, Fazal Dying, Adeel Cotton factories, Almansoor Textile, Ali Akbar Hayat Textile, Rahim Cotton Factory, Aziza Exports, Farooq Fiaz Mill, Fatima Saleem Exports, Five Star International, Awais Industry, City Textile, Ahmad Limited, Fahat Ammar Textile, Faizan Corporation, Farooq Cotton, Friends Limited, Alzaman Chemical, Babu CNG, Fuel Care CNG, and other.
