ISLAMABAD: Chairman Islamabad Stock Exchange, Faisal Fatah Malik has said that tax net should be broadened but government should not impose extra taxes on existing taxpayers in upcoming Budget 2015-16.
Government will present Federal Budget of Financial Year 2015-16 on June 5, 2015.
Talking to Customs Today, he said that we were hopeful that this budget will be balanced, people friendly and according to expectation of business community. He added that government should work on documented economy to overcome the tax evasion and which ultimately bring transparency in the system and procedures.
He said that FBR should keep in mind the issues and suggestions of business community while preparing the budget.
It is important to mention here that it is the third budget of Pakistan Muslim League’s (Nawaz) government, while business community were seeking investment friendly budget.
