Ukraine exported over 32 million tonnes of grains

KIEV: Since the beginning of 2014/15 MY, and as of June 4, Ukraine exported 32.18 mln tonnes of grains, declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.

In particular, wheat exports totaled 10.523 mln tonnes, barley – 4.46 mln tonnes, corn – 16.946 mln tonnes, and other grains – 251 thsd tonnes, according to APK Inform.

According to the announcement, as of reporting date there were loaded nearly 229 thsd tonnes of grains to the vessels.

Thus, the general volume of exported and prepared for exports grains reached 32.409 mln tonnes (including 10.559 mln tonnes of wheat, 4.46 mln tonnes of barley, 17.139 mln tonnes of corn).

According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, the bid prices on the domestic market varied depending on the region: 3-grade wheat – 2950-4500 UAH/t, 6-grade feed wheat – 2700-3500 UAH/t.
