UK police seize 50 bags of herbal cannabis

LONDON: Two smugglers have been arrested and around 50 bags of suspected herbal cannabis have been seized following a drugs raid at a Devon propert.

Following community intelligence and concerns, police officers executed a warrant obtained under the Misuse of Drugs Act at a property in Fore Street, Okehampton during the afternoon of Thursday, June 4.

A police spokesman said: “Following a search of the premises approximately fifty bags of suspected herbal cannabis were seized.

“Two men aged 23 and 22 years were arrested on suspicion of possession of a Class B controlled drug with the intent to supply.
