FPCCI, SCCI lauds role of women entrepreneurs in national economy

SIALKOT: The role of women entrepreneurs in strengthening national economy is encouraging and increasing the participation of businesswomen in business avenues.

The doors should be kept opened for females and ensuring the provision of maximum business opportunities to the women entrepreneurs.

Vice Chairman, FPCCI’s Young Entrepreneurs Development Committee, Zulfiqar Ali Bader stated this while addressing the participants of a seminar titled ‘Future of Young Entrepreneurs’ held here at the SCCI Auditorium under the auspices of Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

He said the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry would encourage the maximum participation of female entrepreneurs to promote their business, besides, helping them to explore and capture international trade and export markets.

Addressing on the occasion, SCCI President Fazal Jillani said that SCCI had always kept Sialkot based women entrepreneurs up-to- date on legislative issues, social media advancements and educational opportunities, besides, providing them a neighborhood environment in which females could share and network.

Chairperson SCCI’s committee on Women Entrepreneurs Syeda Sabina Gillani stressed the need for developing skills of women, besides, encouraging them to face challenges.

She said that there were 150 women entrepreneurs in Sialkot, who were playing their vital role in strengthening national exports.
