NEW DELHI: Sebi and the Ministry of Finance of Belarus signed a memorandum of understanding on bilateral cooperation on June 3 at Minsk.
The MoU was signed by Rajeev Kumar Agarwal, Whole Time Member, SEBI and Vladimir Amarin, Minister of Finance, Belarus, in the presence of the President of India Pranab Mukherjee, and the President of Belarus Alexander V Lukashenko.
The MoU seeks to promote further development of economic links and cooperation, besides enhancing investor protection and creating conditions for effective development of securities markets in the two countries.
