FALCON DAM: U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers arrested a 39-year-old Mexican man on Friday after finding more than 54 pounds of cocaine in his vehicle, according to news release here the other day.
The man, from Nuevo Leon, Mexico, was driving a green minivan when an officer referred him to a secondary inspection at the Falcon Dam border crossing, the release states.
There, officers found and seized 20 packages of cocaine, weighing more than 54 pounds. The suspected smuggler was arrested and then released to Homeland Security Investigations agents.
