CM Balochistan Malik urges PM to extend financial cooperation

QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Dr Abdul Malik Baloch urged Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif to guide his government in development matters, besides extending financial cooperation to Balochistan province.

He was speaking at the ceremony held in connection with expansion of an oil refinery in Hub area of Lasbela district, on Friday. Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, federal and provincial ministers and senior officials were present on the occasion.

The Chief Minister said, “Prime Minister’s frequent visits to Balochistan are evidence that he has special love and kindness for this province and he wants practical development in this region,” adding that PM Nawaz should provide us his guidance in development process of Balochistan besides extending the financial cooperation of the federal government toward our province. “We assure PM Nawaz that a stable Balochistan will strengthen Pakistan,” he further said.

He said that Balochistan was very suitable place for local and foreign investment. “Balochistan is rich in natural resources which provides invest-friendly environment,” he said. He demanded of the federal government to give equal importance to Balochistan at per other provinces in policy making process at national level.
