Three of the chips are BGA which means that they can’t be fitted in LGA socket. These chips, therefore, will be used by manufacturers. Two socketed and unlocked chips are the Core i7-5775C and Core i5-5675C. Their easy overclocking makes them a perfect choice for the buyers.

The most noteworthy features of both the Core i7-5775C and Core i5-5675C were their improved IPC gains and much faster graphics unit coming with 128 MB of DRAM cache. Both of the processors in discussion fit the LGA 1150 socket.

The Core i7-5775C is priced at $366 while the Core i5-5675 costs its buyers $276. The prices are relatively higher. The only rationale, which Intel has, for the increased prices is the revamped GPU, observes the news source.

In addition to the desktop Core Chips, Intel has unveiled four first 5th-generation mobile quad-cores. You can read more details about these cores on Digital Trends.
