BEJING: OnePlus is teasing us with details about the OnePlus 2 as it gets closer to officially announcing the handset. This image could be the first glimpse at the OnePlus 2 itself.
The smartphone manufacturer is running competitions, giving three people the chance to join it at the OnePlus 2 launch. One of the promotional posters for these competitions features “a real OnePlus 2 engineer test unit.”
As it’s an engineer test unit, the device’s aesthetics could very well change. Manufacturers like to keep the actual appearance of devices under wraps, so uses bulky bodywork to disguise them.
But at the very least, this indicates that we are getting closer to the official announcement of the OnePlus 2.
The OnePlus 2 is rumoured to utilise a Snapdragon 810 processor along with 3GB RAM. It may also feature a 5.5-inch QHD screen, a 16 megapixel camera, a 5 megapixel front-facing snapper, and a 3300 mAh battery.
Of course, we’ll find out for sure when OnePlus announces the handset.
