SINGAPORE: Sales of new private homes were down in May, as only one new project was introduced to the market.
Developers sold 638 private homes in the month, down 45.3 per cent from April, according to figures released by the Urban Redevelopment Authority on Monday.
Just 499 private homes were launched in May, down from 1,382 units launched in April.
Westwood Residences, the sole new launch in the month, had the most sales at 118 units. These went for a median price of $803 per sq ft (psf).
