Pakistan, Italy announce exchange programme for business community announce exchange programme for business community

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Italy, during the first round of Political Consultations between both the countries, have announced to start an exchange programme of business delegations under framework of the Strategic Engagement Plan (SEP) signed between the two countries in 2013.

Pakistan’s delegation was led by Nadeem Riyaz, Additional Secretary (Europe) and Italy’s delegation was headed by Andrea Perugini, Director General for Asia of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Special focus was placed on strengthening political, economic, cultural and educational ties. It was decided to undertake exchange of business delegations and develop institutional linkages.
