FBR redefines criteria for grant of cash rewards to officers

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has issued notification regarding criteria for grant of cash reward to the officers of BS-17 and above.

According to the notification, it has been decided that the criteria for grant of cash reward contained in Para2(i) of Board’s Letter No. 5(1)S&M/2008 dated April 19, 2009 be substituted as under:-

The officers, having less than 3 months tenure; remained on leave or trainings for three months or more during the relevant financial year excluding promotion related trainings ie MCMC, SMC, NMC and NDU etc; disciplinary case or fact-finding inquiry is pending and penalty imposed under E&D Rules during the relevant financial year, will not be eligible for the reward.
