APCA ends protest after negotiations with Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah

LAHORE: All Pakistan Clerks Association has announced to call-off its strike after successful negotiations with the Punjab government.  After negotiations with Law Minister Rana Sanaullah, the APCA leaders decided to end sit-in in front of the Punjab Assembly.

Earlier, the APCA members started protest in front of the Punjab Assembly in the morning and staged a sit-in. A large number of clerks and other employees participated in the demonstration. The government employees chanted slogan against the government.

After sometime, Rana Sanaullah assured the APCA delegation that the APCA demands will be accepted within ten days. While Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif will announce a package for APCA in the government employees convention.  He further said that after approval of the summary, notification will be issued accordingly. Announcement will be made by Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif.
