Moreover, Customs authorities have decided to investigate other businesses of these companies. These companies are doing business of mobile import along with other side businesses.

A source told Customs Today that owners of TCS and Smart Zone through higher authorities tried to force DG I&I to change his decision regarding investigation but DG I&I demanded the proof for the legitimacy of the goods caught in warehouse of TCS. The hearing of bail request of owner of Smart Zone Company Shakirullah was fixed on August 6 and TCS CEO Saqib Hamdani on August 11 but due to prolonged leave of Customs Judge, their bail before arrest would automatically extend even after expiration.
