FBR chief bids farewell to Member FATE Riffat Shaheen Qazi

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman Tariq Bajwa and other top officials of the revenue authority bid farewell to Facilitation and Taxpayer Education (FATE) Member Riffat Shaheen Qazi, who is retiring on Friday (today) at a special meeting of the FBR’s Board-in-Council.

Addressing on the occasion, FBR Chairman Tariq Bajwa lauded the services of Qazi and her professionalism and commitment to excellence exhibited during her various postings within and outside the FBR. He said officers like Riffat Shaheen Qazi always formed the backbone of any organisation and their energy and enthusiasm contributed significantly to an improved service delivery, an essential requisite of a responsive government.

The other officials, including Members, also shared the similar sentiments and recalled the grace and intelligence with which she conducted herself under adverse circumstances. They lauded her meritorious services and wished her well in the years ahead.

Later, Riffat Shaheen Qazi was presented with a memento of FBR.
