FBR directs RTO Multan to collect Rs 9.80b in June to achieve target for fiscal year 2014-15‏

MULTAN:  The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has directed the Regional Tax Office (RTO) Multan to achieve the set target of Rs 9.80 billion tax for the month of June for fiscal Year 2014-15.

The Regional Tax office Multan has been assigned the tax collection target of Rs 9.80 billion for the month of June 2014-15. The Regional Tax Office Multan has collected the revenue of Rs 7.6 billion in terms of various taxes during the month of May 2015.

The RTO Multan has successfully collect Rs 4.35 billion taxes including income tax, sales tax and Federal Excise duty in the first eighteen days of the June, 2015.

RTO Multan is facing a shortfall of almost Rs  7 billion in the collections of taxes the first 11 months as it could generate only Rs 58.73 billion taxes against the set target of Rs 67 billion during the first 11 months (July-May) of the current fiscal year 2014-15.

The RTO Multan is exerting full efforts and dynamism for the collection of June target of RS. 9.80 billion assigned by the Federal Board of Revenue .  Officials at Regional Tax Office are hopeful for the accomplishment of set target from Federal Board of Revenue.

RTO Multan is making efforts to achieve the 100 percent of set target by the end of this year and the RTO Multan has accelerated the collection revenue for the completion of annual target of financial year 2014-15.
