LAHORE: Former deputy prime minister and Punjab chief minister Pervaiz Elahi, criticising the government over loadshedding, has said the PML-N rulers have broken all previous records of power outages.
In a statement, the PML-Q leader said that the government is claiming for the last seven to end loadshedding but practically it has not yet launched any project, which may reduce, or end loadshedding.
He said billions of rupees were spent on Nandipur power project but it is not functional, adding that Quaid-e-Azam Solar Project has also turned out to be a white elephant as it is producing only 18 megawatt.
