Member (Admin) Shahid Hussain lays foundation stone of Sargodha RTO Complex

SARGODHA: Federal Board of Revenue’s (FBR) Member (Administration) Shahid Hussain Jatoi has laid foundation stone of RTO Complex in Sargodha.

The foundation laying ceremony of RTO Complex Sargodha was attended by the officers of RTO, Commissioner and District Coordination Officer (DCO) of Civil Division Sargodha, Chairman and office-bearers of Sargodha Chamber of Commerce and Industries (SCCI), members of trade bodies, members of Tax Bar Association and other notables.

Shahid Hussain Jatoi, in his speech, detailed the upcoming projects of FBR and informed the audience that PC-II on hiring consultant for feasibility of RTO Complex Sargodha is approved and funded in PSDP 2015-16. He expressed appreciation for FBR Chairman Tariq Bajwa for the development of FBR’s infrastructure at many stations, role in acquisition of the 10.5 acres land for RTO Sargodha.

Jatoi also thanked the local civil administration and officers of the RTO for their acquisition of the land.

Addressing on the occasion, Chief Commissioner Shahid Zaman highlighted the history of RTO Sargodha and underscored the need for a customised office building besides transit and residential accommodation for the officers and staff of RTO. SCCI President Fazalur Rehman appreciated the need of a modern office building.
