Juke-R 2.0 is perfect ‘crossover’ of Nissan

TOKYO: Nissan Juke-R 2.0 is based on the updated, standard crossover, but with “further levels of GT-R testosterone” injected, resulting in staggering outputs of 441kW and 652Nm (more than the GT-R itself).

In the original Juke-R model, the 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6 made “just” 362kW, so the as-yet-unannounced zero to 100km/h sprint time of the new model should be substantially quicker than its predecessor’s 3.7 seconds.

The Juke-R 2.0 which is, for the time being, technically still a concept retains its trademark matt black paint scheme.

“The Juke-R has become an iconic crossover-supercar and with the launch of the latest Juke model last year, it was the natural choice to upgrade the original Juke-R with added power and even bolder styling,” said Gareth Dunsmore, Marketing Communications General Manager for Nissan Europe.

“The Juke-R 2.0 is a perfect ‘crossover’ of the best bits of Nissan real innovation showcasing our crossover prowess fused with the excitement and of the GT-R supercar engine.”
