Sharing their views with Customs Today, they alleged that the incumbent office-bearers of KCAA throughout the year adopted the policy of nepotism and favoritism.

They were of the view that the KCAA office-bearers even did not raise their voice in favour of clearing agents over several issues including delay in grounding of containers at PICT, KICT and QICT, arrest of clearing agents and implementation of unjustified valuation guidelines.

Responding to a query, clearing agents said that the previous cabinet of KCAA performed far better than incumbent KCAA office-bearers.

It is pertinent to mention here that the annual elections of KCAA are scheduled on Sept, 25.
