SIALKOT: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested a notorious human trafficker named Zafar Iqbal from Gujrat. He was named in the FIA’s Red Book.
According to FIA Gujranwala Deputy Director Sikandar Hayyat Malik, the accused had been running a business of sending innocent people abroad, especially to Europe and Greece, illegally by extorting big amounts from them after showing them the dreams of their bright future in European countries. The accused was also wanted by the FIA in dozens of cases of human trafficking.
The FIA also seized a huge number of passports, fake stamps, embossing machines, medical certificates and fake official documents of several embassies from his custody.
The FIA has sent the accused behind the bars after registering a case against him. Further investigations are underway in this regard.
