KARACHI: Federal Board of Revenue Chairman Tariq Bajwa arrived here in Karachi on Thursday morning and held a meeting with the Chief Commissioner LTU and other senior staff members. Chief Commissioners RTO, RTO-II and RTO-III also attended the meeting.
Sources said that the FBR chief commended the overall performance of LTU and RTOs for achievements of their targets. He hoped that the tremendous efforts would continue in future too.
Tariq Bajwa underlined the importance of the newly introduced policy measures recently in the Finance Tax and asked them to prepare the field for the implementation of these measures.
Chairman Bajwa was addressing a meeting of the Customs officials of grade 17 and above at the conference hall at Customs House till the filing of this report.
Sources said that FBR chairman will proceed for Jeddah in this evening to perform Umrah.
