The drop of exports, imports and overall trade was a result of a strengthening of the dollar against the dinar, as well as the euro.

The deficit is at USD 1.9 billion, which is a 16.8-percent decline. The import-to-export ratio is 74 percent – higher than the 73.2 percent in the same period of last year.

In exports, the main foreign trade partners were Italy, Germany, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Romania and Russia, with Germany, Italy, Russia, China and Hungary as the main import partners.

Countries with which Serbia has free trade agreements accounted for most of the foreign trade volume, with EU member states accounting for 64.7 percent of the total.
