HONG KONG: A 16-year-old boy has been arrested in Hong Kong after allegedly being found with 7.5 kilograms of ketamine on his person.
The teenager, who reportedly claimed to be a “baker” (we’re thinking he might have meant “cook”) was intercepted by Hong Kong Customs officials in San Tin here the other day.
The drugs are estimated to have a street value of around HKD900,000.
The boy will appear at Fanling Magistrates’ Court today charged with one count of trafficking a dangerous drug.
The maximum penalty if found guilty is life imprisonment and a HKD5 million fine.
