China is emerging as a major economic power but impressive part of its economy is that it does not want a solo flight and wants not only to team up with the West but also with smaller developing countries in Asia and Africa. The new world economic order is the need of the hour and successful economic blocs emerging in different regions are indicative of the fact that only groups of countries will survive keeping in view the growing population and depleting natural resources, especially water and farmlands all over the world.
China has muscled out the Western nations from emerging economies in recent years, but on the second day of a high-profile visit to France, Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang said that his could also work with other Western nations to create growth in developing countries. He also branded as a huge market when referred to six billion people living in developing countries, who could not always afford the industrial equipment needed to spur growth. China provides everything to the world, even industrial equipment at affordable prices. Beijing is also looking to form joint ventures or co-operatives with the developed world to provide advanced technologies and has recently signed deals with Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. The Chinese premier has made it clear to the world that providing better quality products to poorer countries would also help reduce energy consumption. China is struggling with a slowdown in domestic demand and is pushing its companies to seek new markets abroad. Li tells the western nations to help improve infrastructure and industrialization which will serve the interests of all of the nations. There is a need to push developing countries towards prosperity and it will help China find a market for its products and also force China into upgrading the home industry. India should learn from Chinese experience and should stop to opt for a solo flight. The South Asia is the most populous region in the world and most of the people live below poverty line. Hostilities between Pakistan and India since independence served no good to both the nations. It is time India should revisit its policy toward Pakistan, abide by the UN resolutions and resolve the Kashmir issue once for all. It will usher in a new era of develop and prosperity in the region as all the funds will go to economy instead of defence. Poverty is the common enemy of the two countries and both should jointly fight against it.
