Faisalabad Customs seizes illegally imported generators, Mazda truck‏

FAISALABAD: Faisalabad Customs Intelligence has successfully seizes two 50KVA foreign origin generators and a Mazda truck during an operation.

According to details, Faisalabad Customs Intelligence Additional Director M Ismail received credible information regarding smuggling of two 50KVA foreign origin generators. Soon after receiving the tip, Additional Directors M Ismail formed a raiding team comprising senior intelligence officer Muhammad Tahir Iqbal and sepoys Mansoor Khan, Muhammad Sikander, Mukhtar Ahmed, Ghulam Ghous.

The raiding team intercepted the Mazda truck bearing registration number RNR-4783 and asked driver Sanaullah, son of Muhammad Sharif, to produce the legal documents regarding import of the generator and the Mazda truck. However, the driver failed to produce the same documents.

Upon his failure, the raiding team seized the non-duty paid generators and the Mazda truck, while further investigation is underway.
