DAC holds meeting on customs disputed paragraphs

LAHORE: The Auditor General Punjab’s Directorate of Audit Committee held a meeting with customs official on disputed paragraphs made by the Audit Department of the AGP.

Customs officials concerned attended the meeting and replied to the queries, and settled the paragraph against the Customs Department.

Sources said that the meeting was presided over by Lahore Customs and Petroleum DG Audit Muhammad Ikram Khan.

Customs official who participated in the meeting were from Lahore, Peshawar, Faisalabad, Lahore Preventive, Lahore Appraisement, Lahore Customs Intelligence and Investigation and other departments.

The sources added that all the representatives of the collectorates and Customs Intelligence filed their replies on the disputed paragraphs.
