Badami Bagh, Naseer Steel Mills cheques amounting to Rs 13.7m bounced

LAHORE: The FBR authorities submitted cheques of M/s Badami Bagh Steel Mills and Naseer Steel Mills. But both of cheques were bounced as no amount was found in their accounts.

The cheque of Rs 9 million was  given by Naseer Steel Mills owner for the payment of taxes, but when the FBR authorities presented the cheque in banks, the data showed that no amount was available in the accounts.

Federal Board of Revenue, Regional Tax Office filed an FIR in relevant police station for against both accused, source told Customs Today.
