KARACHI: A one-day fumigation drive was held at Customs House, Karachi on Saturday. During the drive, all officials of Pakistan Customs vacated their offices before 5pm.
In this regard, a circular was also issued by the Office of the Assistant Collector-MCC Preventive (Headquarters) in which it was stated that Customs House Officer (CHO) of all collectorates should be there at the time of fumigation drive while the officials and officers should leave their offices before 5pm.
The aim of the said drive was to free the offices in Customs House from insecticides and other harmful insects and ensure provision of healthy environment to the visitors.
