Punjab Revenue Authority issues notice to D J Butt to pay Rs 17 million sales tax

LAHORE: The Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) served notice on DJ Butt over non-payment of sales tax worth Rs 17 million.

The Punjab Revenue Authority served notice on DJ Butt, the man behind musical vigor at PTI rallies for evading tax on Rs 110 million income which he earned during PTI sit-ins rallies and protests in different cities.

In the notice issued by Additional Commissioner Aisha Ranjha, DJ Asif Nazar Butt was warned of strict action against him if he did not deposit Rs 17 million dues in the treasury accordance to specified time.

Earlier on July 6, 2015 DJ Butt had come up with claims that PTI owes him Rs 80 million from dharna days on account of musical arrangements at its Islamabad sit-in that continued for 126 days.
