Govt issues notification for increase of employees’ salaries

ISLAMABAD: The government has issued on Wednesday the notification for increase in salaries and pensions of the employees of federal government and armed forces.

According to the notification, the ad-hoc relief allowances 2011 and 2012 would be merged in the basic pay of the salaries with effect from July, 01 2015.

Similarly an ad-hoc relief allowance at 7.5 percent of the running basic pay to the civil employees of the federal government as well as the employees of armed forces would also be allowed from July 01, 2015.

In another notification issued by the ministry of finance, the government allowed 7.5 percent increase on pensions of retired employees of federal government and armed forces.

Similarly the ministry also issued a notification for increase of medical allowance to the civil employees by 25 percent.
