Customs Faisalabad seizes foreign origin generator, mini truck

FAISALABAD: The Customs intelligence and Investigation has seized a foreign origin generator of 20 kilowatt and a master mini truck in Faisalabad City.

According to details, Additional Director Customs Investigations and Intelligence M. Ismail received a credible information regarding smuggling of foreign origin generators.

After receiving the information, Additional Director Customs I&I constituted raiding party comprising Muhammad Tahir Iqbal (senior Intelligence officer ), Mr. Mansoor Khan, Muhammad Sikander, Mukhtar Ahmed, Ghulam Ghous, Muhammad Iqbal, Muhammad Iqbal (sepoys).

The raiding team intercepted a mini truck bearing No.MRRA-773, and seized foreign origin generator of 20 kilowatt having market value of Rs 2,50,000/-.

The raiding party ask driver Hafeezullah Khan son of Muhammad Iqbal Khan who is resident of Sardarywala PO Dhudhianwala tehsil Kaloor Kot district Bhakkar to produce legal documents regarding import of generator, but the driver failed to produce the documents.

After his failure customs party seized the generator, while further proceedings are underway.
